WEBSITE TERMS OF USE
Effective Date: August 15, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to www.sidequestsandsketchbooks.com, operated by Sidequests and Sketchbooks, LLC. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
INFORMATIONAL PURPOSE
This website provides general information about Sidequests and Sketchbooks, LLC and the psychotherapy services offered by Katherine McAdams, LCPC, NCC, ADHD-CCSP.
Website content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not psychotherapy, medical advice, diagnosis, crisis support, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional who understands your individual circumstances.
NO THERAPIST-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
Viewing this website, completing the Quest Log, sending a message, or receiving a response does not create a therapist-client relationship.
A therapist-client relationship begins only after we mutually agree to work together, the required consent documents are completed, and clinical services begin. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee that services will be offered or that space will be available.
EMERGENCIES
This website, the Quest Log, email, voicemail, and website messages are not monitored continuously and should not be used for emergencies or urgent clinical support.
If you are in immediate danger, experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, or unable to remain safe:
• Call 911;
• Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline;
• Go to the nearest emergency department; or
• Contact an appropriate local crisis service.
LOCATION OF SERVICES
Sidequests and Sketchbooks, LLC provides telehealth psychotherapy to clients who are physically located in Maryland at the time of each appointment.
The website may be viewed from other locations, but viewing the website does not establish eligibility for clinical services.
MINORS
Parents and legal guardians may use this website to inquire about services for a minor.
Children under age 13 should not submit personal information through the website. A parent or legal guardian should complete the Quest Log or contact the practice on the child’s behalf.
A parent or legal guardian must generally provide consent before psychotherapy services begin for a minor, unless another legally recognized arrangement applies.
CLINICAL DOCUMENTS CONTROL
If you become a client, your care will be governed by the clinical documents and agreements provided through the secure Client Portal. These may include the Informed Consent for Psychotherapy, Consent for Teletherapy Services, Practice Policies and Financial Agreement, Notice of Privacy Practices, Professional Disclosure Statement, and any applicable consent or authorization forms.
If information on this website differs from a signed clinical agreement, the signed clinical agreement controls with respect to your care.
PRIVACY AND WEBSITE FORMS
Information submitted through the website will be handled as described in the Website Privacy Policy.
Please provide only the information reasonably necessary for the practice to understand and respond to your inquiry. Do not use website forms to send emergency information or extensive clinical records.
WEBSITE SUBMISSIONS
When you submit information through the Quest Log or another website form, you authorize Sidequests and Sketchbooks, LLC and its website service providers to receive, store, and use that information as reasonably necessary to:
• Review and respond to your inquiry;
• Determine whether the practice may be an appropriate fit;
• Help coordinate consultation or scheduling;
• Operate and secure the website; and
• Meet applicable legal, safety, or regulatory obligations.
You agree not to submit unlawful, threatening, intentionally false, or malicious content. You should not submit another person’s private information unless you have the legal authority or permission to do so.

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s original writing, artwork, graphics, logo, downloadable materials, worksheets, resources, and other creative content belong to Sidequests and Sketchbooks, LLC or are used with permission.
You may view and print website materials for your own personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, alter, sell, publish, distribute, scrape, or commercially use website content without prior written permission.
Website content may not be collected or used to train, develop, test, or improve an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system without prior written permission, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

This website may link to third-party services, including the SimplePractice Client Portal and other informational resources. Those services operate under their own terms, privacy practices, and security procedures.
A link does not necessarily mean that Sidequests and Sketchbooks, LLC endorses every statement, product, or service offered by the third party.
AVAILABILITY AND ACCURACY
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website accurate, secure, and available. However, website content may occasionally contain errors, become outdated, or be temporarily unavailable.
